About this deal

Defiantly worked, does need to be used over a few days, the powder is a little difficult to get into the entrance into the nest, you have to stand up wind or do it on a wind less day.

While the majority of our nursery plants cope well with slight delays in intransit, sadly, the time it takes to deliver to certain locations in the UK means that we can't guarantee this for some of our smaller plug products and tender bedding and vegetable lines, which do not respond well to the extra journey time.

Nests start off about the size of a golf ball, but can grow to be bigger than a rugby ball and can contain up to 5000 wasps. You may want to reapply a week or so after to kill the larvae that start to hatch, but it seems the powder is good at getting into the larvae early too. In the unlikely event you receive a faulty, damaged or incorrect product, contact us within 7 days and we will refund or replace it. We do not like having to add this surcharge, however this is the extra we have to pay to deliver to those areas. Wasps can be a real nuisance in and around our gardens and, of course, offer the threat of a painful sting and real danger to those people who have an allergy to the sting.

In my case the constant stream of wasps into this nest was making it treacherous to negotiate some outdoor stone steps, so I felt I had to deal with the nest. Really effective powder — they all seemed to vanish very quickly and did a far better job than a paid exterminator. com providing details of the purchase together with a description, and photographs if appropriate, of the fault/damage. Had a huge wasps nest forming in my air brick that wasn’t visible and they were starting to enter the inside of my flat from behind a radiator! We do not currently ship to Northern Ireland, The Channel Islands (or other off shore islands), Isle of Wight, or the Isle of Man.

These can be built in soil banks below ground, in hollow trees or, worst of all, in the roof spaces and cavities of our homes. An emergency exterminator came round and pumped a liquid poison through the brick and it spilled through into my inside room. Immediately I could see wasps coming out to defend but they hovered outside the brick and refused to re-enter.
