About this deal

Edit: I received a bottle of this for a Valentine's day gift and, to my pleasant surprise, I picked up a bit more red berries from a fresh bottle rather than the large, uncapped bottle I had been smelling at my work. Unless you love mature white florals, especially jasmine, and perfume heavy, masculine driftwood you need to look past the cute bottle and leave it. So going back to the perfume, I personally wear this at night, has a very strong lasting effect and hints of vanilla makes it very warm. Oh I know it's ridiculously fruity and the bottle is over the top, but IMO it is incrediby unique, and I just HAD to have this the moment I got a whiff from a paper strip. sillage seems good as I put it on the top of my hand and can catch whiffs of it as I am moving around the house doing chores.

This juicy and exciting opening is followed by a floral trio of honeysuckle, jasmine and orange blossom, over a sensual base of coconut water, vanilla, driftwood and sensual musk. I’ve had so many compliments about how nice my parfume is, and what fragrance is it and where did I get it, love wearing it! It is a very generic fresh perfume, nothing special at all, similar to all MJ perfumes I tried to date. Eau de Toilette (EDT): EDT’s are not as highly concentrated in oils and elixirs as an EDP or Perfume would be and contain one to three per cent of fragrance oils. This a berry scent, nothing impressive or complex but I've gone into a 360 direction and have gone from wearing amazing complex fragrances like Yves Saint Laurent Opium to sweeter fruity florals.

Very generic, smells just like 'oh Lola' and every other Marc Jacobs perfume (with the exception of Decadence perhaps). I also always spray some of the fragrance into the lid - most of the time that gives me an idea of sillage and longevity. I have been eyeing this perfume for so long and I finally pulled the trigger only to be completely disappointed. I had wanted it since I was in High School (that was 7 years ago), but back then I didn't have the funding to make this purchase. I know that this won't be for everybody due to individual chemistry and Marc Jacobs should stop the assembly line for a short minute ( I won't ever forgive him for Decadence-EVER!

On the skin I get red fruit, honey and a faint pencil shavings note, while in the air I get a barely-rouge honeysuckle with a bread-like quality (probably pitahaya/dragonfruit). Dot is the lighter, fresher, gentler, more daytime one and Purr is a bit darker, more dramatic, abrasive and suited for nights and winter. Smells like a punch of melon to the nose, covered in sticky honey over a non-descript musky floral base.I feel like a youthful child with no burdens of crippling university and graduate school debt, with no bills, or rent to make. A delicate Floral Fruity perfume with a juicy and exciting notes that incorporate a floral trio composed of honeysuckle, jasmine and orange blossom, while a base closes with a trail of coconut water, vanilla, driftwood and sensual musk. Tahitian Orchid leans more aquatic, and doesn't have the honeysuckle or red fruit but dries down sweeter. I blind-bought this perfume off someone online, unfortunately, someone else picked it up for me (as I don't have a car), so I didn't get the chance to test it.
